Legal
Privacy Policy
This policy explains what happens to personal information you share with Sutra Law LLP ("Sutra Law") through this website.
Last updated: October 2026
Information we collect
When you request a consultation we collect what you type into the form: your name, email address, phone number, city, the service you need, your message and how you would like us to contact you.
Our hosting provider may also log technical details such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, for security and performance. If analytics tools are switched on, they collect usage information in aggregate.
How we use it
We use your details to review your enquiry, reply to you, decide whether we are able to act and, if you instruct us, to provide legal services. We do not sell personal information.
Confidentiality
Enquiries are handled confidentially. Sending us a form does not, however, create a lawyer–client relationship, so please share only a short outline of your matter until we have confirmed we can act.
Who we share it with
Only the people and service providers who need it to answer your enquiry or run this website, such as our email and hosting providers, or where the law requires disclosure.
Retention and security
We keep enquiry information only for as long as we need it for these purposes or as the law and our professional obligations require, and we take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect it.
Your choices
You can ask us to show, correct or delete the personal information you have given us, unless we are legally or professionally required to keep it. Write to info@sutralaw.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always on this page.
